Gladys Seaman, 97, formerly of Kingman, and Lake Havasu City, died April 11 in Casa Grande, AZ. Gladys was born July 17, 1917, in La Center Washington to John and Gyda Hanson.


Gladys and her husband Paul moved to Kingman, AZ from Carmichael, CA after retirement. She worked as a keypunch operator for many years before retirement. They enjoyed exploring the desert and the rivers of Northern California propecting for gold.


Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Paul and one son Rick and step-daughter Colleen, three brothers, James, Alfred, Harold and sister Mildred.


She is survived by her son, Roger (Janice) of Yuba City, CA, Keith (Donna and Granddaughter Stacey) of Casa Grande, AZ, Tim (Kathy) of Springfield, VA five grandsons and several great-grandchildren. She is also survived by nieces Karin Rhodes, Melanie Ehret and nephew Ron Smith.


A celebration of Life will be held at United Methodist Church of Casa Grande, Tuesday, April 21 from 10:00 to Noon. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice Compassus Gor Pinal County Animal Shelter.


Heritage Casa Grande Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
