NINETY SIX - Kenneth Eric Blair, 48, of 109 Leroy Drive, husband of Lorraine Hailey Blair, died Saturday, March 2, 2002, at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in McCormick County, he was a son of James Carroll and Jeanette Luchey Boozer.
He graduated from Greenwood High School in 1971 and attended South Carolina State University. He was kitchen manager at Burger Palace and a member of Weston Chapel A.M.E. Church.
Survivors include his wife and parents; a daughter, Krystle Tawann Blair of Spartanburg; a son, Kenneth Eric Blair Jr. of the home; three sisters, Sandra Boozer Greene of Alexandria, Va., Kim Boozer Williams of Columbia and Audrey Boozer of Greenwood; four brothers, Willie Alfred Blair and Reginald Boozer, both of Atlanta, Gregory Carroll of Philadelphia and Larry Blair; and maternal grandmother, Jane Crosson of Chicago.
Services are 3 Thursday at Antioch Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. R.C. Oglesby, pastor.
The body will be placed in the church at 2. Burial is in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are Jimmy L. Mayes, Jesse Jacobs, Jimmy Hill, George Kerhoulas, Hugh Richards and Maceo Hill.
Honorary pallbearers are Anthony Brooks, George Lark, Larry Edwards, Ricky Miller, Chris Alexander and Carl Thompson.
Flower bearers are Alfreda Hill, Emma Mae Gilliam, Eushonda Woods, Vivian Marshall, Sadie Jackson and Edna Nelson. Honorary escorts are members of Greenwood High School Class of 1971.
