Dennis K. Anderson was born 9 Nov 1935 in Ogden, Utah. Parents Hector Peter Anderson and Della May Wagstaff. He had five brothers and two sisters. He graduated from Ogden High in 1953. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1954 and served for 3 years during the Korean War. He was stationed in Korea near the DMZ, the most dangerous border in the world. He married Charlotte J. Taylor in 1957 in Ogden, Utah and in Salt Lake Temple in 1960. They raised three children plus a grandchild. Curtis Lee Anderson, Denise Anderson Mariani, William Dennis Anderson and Michelle Anderson Hewitt. They have 11 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. They resided in Roy, Utah from 1960. He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and one brother James E. Anderson.


Dennis was active in the LDS church and served in many positions including Elders Quorum President,

Ward Clerk, and as a temple worker in the Ogden Temple for 18 years until 2016.


Dennis graduated from Weber College with a Master's Degree in Economics. He was employed at Hill AFB for 35 ½ years, retiring about 1995. He had many close friends, was an avid golfer throughout his life, and lived a life of service.


Dennis died 10 Dec 2022 in Roy, Utah burial 17 Dec 2022 Roy City cemetery.
