From The Advocate (Baton Rouge), Dec. 4, 2000:

A resident of Osyka, Miss., Nan died at 11:35 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, 2000, west of Kentwood as the result of an automobile accident. She was 29 and a native of Magnolia, Miss.

Services at 11 a.m. Tuesday, McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, conducted by the Rev. Chris Watkins and the Rev. T.J. Ozbun. Interment in New Zion Cemetery, Kentwood.

Nan is survived by a son, Keith Jarrell, Osyka; parents, Lynn and Ann Huff, Kentwood, and
James and Louise Jarrell, Osyka; three sisters, Julee Jarrell, Greensburg, and Jamie Huff and Katie Huff, both of Kentwood; two step-sons, Cori Adams and Jessie Adams, both of Kentwood; three step-grandchildren, Charles Adams and Shannon Adams, both of Kentwood, and Taylor Miller, Greensburg; a special friend, Jennie Rivere, Kentwood; three step-brothers, Bobby Huff and Terry Huff, both of Natchez, Miss., and Joseph Lee, Dyersburg, Tenn.; three
step-sisters, Vicki Rutter and Ruth Ann Thompson, both of Natchez, and Deborah Nettles, Walker; and other family.

Nan was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Jarrell; a stepson, Shannon Miller; grandparents, Robert Lee and Nannie Belle McNabb (Memorial# 38533049), Nick and Ruby Jarrell and Ted and Lola Huff; and a step-brother, Carl Lee.
