Charles Jay Wilkes Turbeville Charles Jay Wilkes, age 60, died April 24, 2010 at McLeod Hospice House after an illness. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at Turbeville First Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery directed by FLOYD FUNERAL HOME of Olanta. Visitation will be held from 6 - 8 PM, Monday, April 26, 2010 at the funeral home. Born in Marlboro County, he was a son of the late Paul Wilkes and Mary Helen Wilkes Wilkes. He was retired from Sonoco Products Company in Hartsville and was a member of Turbeville First Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Nancy Buddin Wilkes of Turbeville. A brother, William (Geraldine) Wilkes of Patrick, a step-daughter, Beabea (Hal) Whitlock of Turbeville, a step-son, Jeffrey (Charlene) Evans of Turbeville, four step-grandchildren, Evan and Hallie Whitlock, and Christian and Maggie Rose Evans. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Heritage Home and McLeod Hospice House. Memorials may be made to Turbeville First Baptist Church, P.O.
