He was married March 29, 1885, to Delila Goodhue, and to this union two children were born, Hattie Reeder of Pontiac, Mich., and Lois Worley of Chicago, five grandchildren, one passing away in infancy in 1912 and four living, Eugene and Clarence, who was making their home with him at the time of his death and Russel and Robert of Chicago. One brother, J. F. Wales, of Plano, sister Jennie Dudley and T. L. Wales of Centerville, Laura Stevens of Denver, Colo., Ruth Rose of California.
Mr. Wales has lived in our community all his life and is well known by everyone and he was of a pleasant and friendly personality and thus gifted he won many friends, was obliging and ready to assist those in distress when opportunity presented itself. He will be missed and mourned not only by the immediate relatives but by many friends.
