He was an avid bowler for many years and enjoyed reading, listening to his large music collection, camping and fishing. He was a Golden Glove boxer in the 60s. He was a distribution center manager for Easton Sports in Sparks for many years. The past six years he worked for the State of Nevada in the Department of Health and Human Services.
He was 63 years old and a 41-year resident of Carson City when he passed away at his home with his wife at his side. He is survived by his wife Lynda of 44 years, their three daughters Cindy Stockstill and son-in-law Jimmy Lee Stockstill, Dawn Voight and son-in-law Chuck Voight, and Toni Jo Emmons, six grandchildren, Trevor Voight, Sierra Voight, Michele Stockstill, Jessica Stockstill, Nicholas Emmons and Jayden Molina.
A celebration of life memorial was held at 11 a.m. Saturday May 17, 2008 at FitzHenry's Funeral Home, 3945 Fairview Drive, Carson City.
Tony's preference for cremation was honored.
