Mrs. Register apparently had become ill on her way to work before signing in, went directly to the first aid department from where she was taken by company ambulance to Glendale Hospital. She was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Mrs. Register was a lifelong resident of Putnam County and a member of the Bostwick Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband, Ray William Register, of Bostwick; her mother, Mrs. Savina Harvey, Bostwick; seven daughters, Mrs. Les Fisher of Sacramento, California, Mrs. Clayton Chapman, Miss Betty R. Hurd, Miss Carolyne R. McCullough, Miss Donna Faye Register Desio, Miss Brenda Register, and Miss Sylvia Register, all of Bostwick; five sons, Leon P., Roy W., Jerry R., Donald K., and Randy L., all of Bostwick; two sisters, Mrs. Ira B. Register and Mrs. Norwood Brown, both of Bostwick; four brothers, Curtis Harvey, of Orange Park, Clayton Harvey, Bostwick, Bertram Harvey, Palatka, and Melvin Harvey of Jacksonville. She is also survived by four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Bostwick Baptist Church with Rev. Donald Willis officiating. Burial will follow in Bostwick Cemetery.
