Mrs. Wilford Cunningham died suddenly at her home in Rutledge last Sunday morning, aged about seventy-five years. She was in the act of putting on her shoes when she was suddenly stricken with either apoplexy or heart trouble and expired sitting in the chair before the closest neighbor arrived. Her husband passed away in a similar manner about two years ago and now she has gone to join him in the spirit land. Funeral services were held Tuesday, after which the body was laid to rest.
