Julie M. Carney, 76, of Swansboro, died Friday, June 29, 2018 at Premier Nursing and Rehabilitation. Funeral services will be 2 pm Monday in the chapel of Jones Funeral Home, Swansboro, with Reverend H.C. Hardesty officiating. Burial will follow in Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Surviving are her daughter, Peggy McCausley and husband Ray of Hubert; two grandsons, Ronnie McCausley and wife Christy, Ryan McCausley and wife Patricia, all of Hubert; four great-grandchildren, Adam, Cory, Camden, and Brodie McCausley; a brother, John Robert Carney of Hubert; and two sisters, Sarah Murphy of Jacksonville and Theresa Carney of Carolina Beach. She was predeceased by her parents, Albert Roy Carney, Julie Frances Burns Carney; and a brother, Rodolph Carney. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Monday from 1 pm until 2 pm at the funeral home.
