George Absheir, whose serious injuries were reported in yesterday's Leader, died of his injuries before the paper was delivered. He was about 28 years of age and had been married about three or four months. His home was at Midway and his funeral will be held from that point and interment made at Shrader's cemetery, near St Clair.

Bluefield, W Va, Oct 7. - George Abshire was fatally injured yesterday while attempting to board a freight train near the west end tower, dying a few hours later at the Bluefield Sanitarium. Abshire was employed by the city, and seeing a freight train as he was coming to his work, thought he would ride in, but slipped as he was jumping on and fell underneath the wheels. He had been married only four months.
