Donald Reed Ratzlaff, 79, of Colby, formerly of Ulysses, KS, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024 in Honolulu, Hawaii. He was born on July 29, 1944, to William J. and Lena Marie (Smith) Ratzlaff in Dodge City. On November 8, 1969, Donald and Judith Martin were united in marriage in Ulysses, KS. From their union they had four children; three of whom survive, also surviving, a sister. Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Judith, brother, Vernon, parents, William J. and Lena Marie, infant son, Heath Richard, and grandparents, George T. and Ella (Koehn) Smith, and John Ben and Susan (Koehn) Ratzlaff. A funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at Baalmann Mortuary, Colby. The burial will take place at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 4, 2024, at the Grant County Cemetery, Ulysses
