Mary Ann Gordon-Hook-Lasister was the daughter of Daniel Gordon and Elizabeth Wolfe. She was the mother of Lillie Hook Malbaff, Emma Hook Fraizer, Minnie Hook Morris, Clara (Bess) Hook Walker, Edna Hook Puckett, and step-mother of John T Hook.

Mrs. Mary Lasister 71 years old, died this morning at 9:15 of infirmities, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. L. Fraizier, on Parker Avenue near the Lexington Road. Besides Mrs. Frazier, she is survived by her husband, James Lasister, and three daughters, Mrs. Howard Malbaff, Parker Avenue; Mrs. Fred Puckett, Spring Branch Road, and Mrs. Minnie Morris, 300 North Liberty Street; and eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Ott and Mitchell Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. L. M. Procter, pastor of First Baptist Church, and the burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
