Clarksville, Texas-- Ola Faye Hastings, 67, of Clarksville, died Thursday, May 8,2008, in a Paris, Texas, hospital. Mrs. Hastings was born May 21,1940, in Lamar County, Texas. Survivors include her husband, Bud Hastings of Clarksville; one son, Leslie Goodman of Paris; two stepsons, Kenneth Hastings of Texarkana, Texas; and Dwayne Hastings of San Antonio, Texas; three stepdaughters, Gail Hearn of Mount Enterprise, Texas, Connie Buchanan of Texarkana and Belinda Clark of Redwater, Texas; four sisters, Wanda Brockway and Wilma Ward of Paris; Gladys Nigo of Garland, Texas and Juanita Sommers of Carrollton, Texas;and two brothers, Henry Lee Smith and Joe William Smith of Paris. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Clarksville Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Shovan officiating. Burial will be in Blanton Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
