Shirley Bernice Ramsey was the fourth of eight children born to Oda Kalb & Lillie Belle Little Ramsey of Lockesburg, Sevier County, Arkansas, And the The grandaughter of Benjamin G. & Lee Ann Christian Ramsey of Tennessee. The Ramsey's moved to Oklahoma after 1917, Shirley or Jackie as she was known to family and friends grew up in Oklahoma and that's where she met her husband Ross D.(Pete) McCallie Jr., They were married on June 05, 1938 in Weleetka (Okfuskee County) Oklahoma, After their marriage they lived in Hughes County in and around Wetumka. Jackie & Pete had three children Peggy/June/Susan.,Jackie was a beautician by trade and ran a beauty shop in Wetumka for a while. Most of the Ramsey family also lived in and around Wetumka and her dad and mom ran a store called Ramsey's grocery.
Jackie's loving husband Pete died from and accident July 28, 1971 and is buried in Hillcrest Cemetery at Weleetka,
Peggy Lee their oldest daughter died January 02, 1998 and is buried in Wetumka Cemetery along side her husband Kenneth Lee Parker.
June Ellen McCallie Howard , died June 16, 2014 about seven miles south of Wetumka, Oklahoma, and was cremated and her Ashes spread over Her Beloved Land.
Susan Kathleen McCallie, Lives in Louisiana.
Jackie's loving husband Pete died from and accident July 28, 1971 and is buried in Hillcrest Cemetery at Weleetka,
Peggy Lee their oldest daughter died January 02, 1998 and is buried in Wetumka Cemetery along side her husband Kenneth Lee Parker.
June Ellen McCallie Howard , died June 16, 2014 about seven miles south of Wetumka, Oklahoma, and was cremated and her Ashes spread over Her Beloved Land.
