BLUEFIELD — Bernard Russell Fink, 83, of Dan Hale Reservoir Road, Bluefield, died early Thursday morning, April 10, 2008 at his home.
Born in Princeton on July 24, 1924, he was the son of the late Elmer Cover and Gladys Dathan Boulden Fink.
He previously worked in the coal mines, for the N and W Railroad and later retired from the US Forest Marketing Lab at Gardner. Mr. Fink proudly served his country with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign War Post 2703.
Survivors include: His wife, Alice Pearl Noble Fink; children, Bernard Wayne Fink and wife Debbie, Brenda Gale Babcock and husband Christopher Neal both of Princeton; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.Graveside Services will be conducted from the Roselawn Memorial Gardens on the Courthouse Road in Princeton with Pastor Jerry Martin officiating.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.
Those attending the graveside service are asked to meet at the funeral home.
The Fink family is being served by the Memorial Funeral Directory and Cremation Center on the Athens Road in Princeton.
