Columbus Edward Littrell was the fourth of six children born to Joseph Gerome Littrell & Parizade Simmons., He married Mary Sue McCallie in 1896 Oklahoma., They had five children, Eva/John/Jess/William/Ida., Uncle Ed and Aunt Sue Were driving through smoke caused by a grass fire along highway 75 beteween Weleetka and Wetumka, Okla, Tuesday January 4, 1949 when they were hit head on by another car, Aunt Sue was killed instantly and Uncle Ed died 10 days later on Friday January 14, 1949. Both are buried in Hillcrest Cemetery, Weleetka (Okfuskee County) Oklahoma.
