Lillian M. Batchelder, 91, of Warrensburg died 8:02 p.m. Wednesday (Jan. 19, 2000) in Vonderlieth Living Center, Mt. Pulaski, IL.

Services will be 4 p.m. Sunday in Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Mt. Pulaski, with Bill Shanle officiating. Visitation will be two hours before services. Graveside services will be 9 a.m. Monday in Illini Cemetery, Warrensburg.

Mrs. Batchelder was born in Decatur on April 22, 1908, the daughter of John R. and Sarah (Searcy) Dempster. She was a registered nurse in Peru, IN. and Decatur. She was a member of Warrensburg United Methodist Church, Warrensburg Home Extension, Illini Women's Club and Nurse's Alumni Association. She married Clifford A. Batchelder on September 28, 1941 in Decatur. He preceded her in death on January 24, 1994.

Surviving are her daugher, Mrs. Karen (James) Seefeldt of Plymouth, MI.; son, David (Kristine) Batchelder of Warrensburg; sister, Betty Richardson of Decatur; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers and four sisters.
