Funeral services were held this afternoon for Emery P. CROSS, 57, who was killed Sunday in a highway accident near Delta. Rev. S. T. FREEMAN officiated at services at the mortuary and the American Legion was in charge. Grant BOWDEN sang "OLD Rugged Cross" and "Beautiful Isle," accompanied by Marguerite SEE.
Pallbearers were Frank SQUIRE, Henry ROBINSON, John WILLIAMS, Darrell SWAIN, William SEES and I. G. ARNOLD.
Mr. CROSS was widely known in this community. He was born in Steamboat Springs Jan. 25, 1897, and served in the Armed Forces during World War I.
Survivors include two sons, Milton W. CROSS and Jess L. CROSS, both of Steamboat Springs; four brothers, Ray CROSS, Rawlins, Wyo., William an J. B. CROSS Steamboat, and Roy, Hayden; three sisters, Mrs. J. H. SPENCER, Nampa, Idaho, Mrs. Jack WHALEY, Eureka, Calif., and Mrs. Ed TRIBILCOCK, Burley, Idaho, and three grandchildren.
