Obituary:"In Tuscola, Dec. 8th, 1863, of decease of the heart; N. H. Lamson aged 65 yrs 8 months and 2 days. Thus suddenly has passed away a good citizen, a kind husband and father, and a faithful Christian. His death was unexpected to all, being in usual good health during the day, and having business in th evillage of Tuscola, he had transacted it and was on his way homewhen his horses became frightened, started to run--they were stopped by a neighbor (having run but a few rods) to whom he remarked, 'You will have to go home with me,' and almost immediately expired."
