Anna M., age 12, lived in Maud, Pottawatomie Co, OK with her parents, William J. & Mary, ages 43 & 33. They were renting a home on Washington Street. Her father worked in the oil field worker. Her siblings were Boyad (William Boyd), age 15; Beatrice, 14; & Katherine, 10.

Anna married Frank Captain, a minister & widow, whose first two wives had died. News about their marriage was published in the Miami Daily News Record on Thursday, November 26, 1942.

Miss Anna Mae Long and Rev. Frank Captain of East Side were married Thursday evening at the Assembly of God Church by the pastor. The couple are now making their home in the Gateway hotel."

Frank kept in touch with the family of Mary Ellen (his second wife). This was shown, in part, by his presence at a family gathering. News about their party was published in the Miami Daily News Record on Monday, April 30, 1945.

Anna helped Frank in his ministry, where he was well known not, only in MO but in AR. He was invited to AR to hold a revival in Colcord, Benton Co, AR. News about this was published in the Miami Daily News Record on Tuesday, September 16, 1947
"Mr. and Mrs. Frank Captain are conducting a Pentecostal revival at Colcord, Ark., and expect to be gone several weeks."

"Mr. and Mrs. Frank Captain and Mrs. Conard Roberts were in Muskogee Monday where Mr. Captain underwent a check-up at the Veteran's hospital there."

Frank died in May 1965.

A short notice about Anna death was published in Miami, OK on Nov. 1, 2004.

"Anna M. Captain WYANDOTTE, Okla. Anna May Captain, 86, a homemaker, passed away Saturday, Oct. 30, 2004.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Wayside Assembly of God, Wyandotte. Burial will be in Lowell Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Guilford-Thomas Funeral Home, Miami, Okla."
