William Howard Burtram, 47. of Oneonta route three died May 13 in an Oneonta hospital. Born in St. Clair County, he was the son of Walter Burtram of Allgood and the late Ella Simmons Burtram. Surviving besides the father are the widow, Mrs. Evelyn Burtram; two sons, Noah Earl of Birmingham, Allen of Oneonta route three; two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Faye Hays of Birmingham, Miss Glenda Sue Burtram of Oneonta route three; two brothers, Clifton of Warrior, Roy of Allgood; three sisters, Mrs. Myrtice Godfrey of Birmingham, Mrs. Lucy Marsh of Columbus, Miss., Mrs. Polly Hill of Allgood. Funeral services were held May 15 from Allgood Methodist Church, the Revs. Herbert Moorer and Joe Moore officiating. Active pallbearers were Douglas Carlisle, George, Billy, Jack, and Ronald Burtram, and Carl Godfrey. Interment was in Old Liberty Cemetery, Wiggins Brown-Service Funeral Home in charge.
