Earl, Berl and Pearl Bowen were triplets; the children of Thomas Bowen and Leona Viola Olivia Bynum. Tragically, all three of the triplets died of the flu.
From the Southern Democrat, Thursday, August 2, 1900:
"The infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Bowen died in Oneonta Sunday afternoon. This death takes the last of the triplets born to them eight or nine months ago."
