Mr. Lehn was born in Warrensburg, a son of John P. and Tabitha Jones Lehn.
He was a member of the Sharon United Methodist Church, and the Macon County Farm Bureau. He was a retired farmer and a life long resident of Warrensburg.
He married Ruth Lienhart, in 1913 in Warrensburg. She died in 1940.
Surviving are a son, Melvin E. of Warrensburg; daughter, Mrs. Eldon (Aldene A.) Beery of Cerro Gordo; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Five brothers preceded him in death.
Howard's second wife was Beatrice Campbell Stroh. She preceded him in death in February 1967.
