Robert G. Pollard, age 75, of Herculaneum, Missouri, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2024 at his home with his family at his bedside. He was born July 20, 1948 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of the late Ethel (nee Dollins) and Raymond Pollard.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Connie (nee Clack) Pollard; daughters Robin Park of Lake St. Louis, Missouri and Becky Hammon of Festus, Missouri; brother Jerald (Pam) Pollard of St. Louis; grandchildren Morgan (Brennan) Martin, Chloe (Nick) Burns, Robert "RJ" (Savannah) Kelly, Elijah Vroman and Chaise Hammon; 2 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings Flora Pollard, Nora Pollard, Anna Crosby, Louise Lurtz, Ronald Pollard, Betty Barnes and Charles Pollard.
Robert was a retired Meatcutter with Local #88 and a Pipefitter with Local #562. He was a member of Elks Lodge #1721 for 23 years.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 10:00 am until the time of funeral service at 12:00 pm at Vinyard Funeral Home Hillcrest in Pevely, Missouri. Interment will be in Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart, Missouri.
