COX -- Helen Marie Cox, age 68, of 1340 E. Street, Springfield, died at her home September 15, 1976. A resident of this vicinity for the past 24 years, she was born March 29, 1908 at Lincolnville, Oklahoma and was married to Marion Cox November 18, 1944 at Auburn, California. Mrs. Cox was a member of the Disabled Veterans Auxillary of Springfield, and a member of the Church of God Seventh Day of Springfield, and had served as secretary at the church. Surviving are her husband, Marion, of Springfield; and one sister, Lola Dillard, of Grants Pass. Funeral services will be held at the Burns Fredericksen Funeral Home Monday, September 20, 1976 at 10 a.m. with Elder Terry Thomas officiating. The family has suggested those who wish may contribute to the American Cancer Society or the Senior Citizens of Springfield in her memory. Private interment Sunset Hills Memorial Gardens.
