Mr. Bellanger was born Nov. 4, 1954, in White Earth, where he grew up and attended school. He was active in Golden Gloves Boxing, competing in tournaments throughout the United States. Following his boxing career, he worked road construction in the White Earth area.
He is survived by his parents, William, St. Mary's Nursing Center, Detroit Lakes, Delia, White Earth; five brothers, Wayne (Sherri), Francis (Jeanne), Ronald (Rose), Gordon (Joyce), Darrell (Delia), all White Earth; and four sisters, Olivia (Jerry) Simmons, Moorhead, Eleanor (Herb) Sullivan, Minneapolis, Diane Madigan, Callaway, Minn., Betty Bellanger (Jim Towe), White Earth.
Visitation: Today after 3:30, with a prayer service at 7, in Circle of Life School, White Earth.
Funeral: Saturday at 2 in St. Columba Episcopal Church, White Earth. Burial: St. Columba Episcopal Cemetery, White Earth. (David-Donehower, Detroit Lakes)
