Surviving are his wife, three sons, Earl B. of Duncansville, Kenneth L. of Cross Keys and Donald F. of Carson Valley, and 14 grandchildren.
Mr. Hoover was a member of the Carson Valley Church of the Brethren. He had served as caretaker and trustee of the Carson Valley Cemetery from 1938 to 1959, and retired as a car inspector for the PRR in 1946.
Friends received in Liebegott Funeral Home, Duncansville 7-9 p.m. Thursday, and 2-9 p.m. Friday. Services at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Carson Valley Church of the Brethren by Rev. Perry Liskey. Interment in Carson Valley Cemetery.
