Mr. Johnnie Blalock, 86, of Eden, Georgia, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family.

Johnnie was born in Pulaski, Georgia and had lived in the Foxbow Community for 43 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Ada Sapp Blalock, his beloved wife of 63 ½ years, Janice Faye Mosley Blalock, a son, Johnnie Clarence Blalock, as well as four sisters and four brothers. Johnnie served his county in the National Guard and retired from IBEW Local 508 as an electrician. He loved fishing the Ogeechee River with his wife and had many fond memories of spending time on the river. He was a "Jack-of-all-trades" and could fix anything. He enjoyed helping others, but most of all, loved spending time with his family. Johnnie considered it a blessing to be able to see five generations of his family.
