SPRINGDALE - Jack A. Foust, 74, of Springdale died Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at Northwest Medical Center-Springdale. He was born Nov. 18, 1933, in Sonora to Terry and Bertha Blackburn Foust.
Jack was a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, where he retired in 1990. He served in the U.S. Navy. He loved fishing and helping others and was a positive with all who came in contact with him.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jackie Sue Foust, and two brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Foust of the home, to whom he was married Dec. 19, 1954; a son, David Foust and wife Pearl of Bentonville; a daughter, Carol McJunkin and husband Dusty of Wheeler; a grandson, Justin Parker of Springdale and two great-granddaughters, Madelyn and Kaitlyn Parker.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sonora Cemetery.
