DECATUR - Helen (Grise) Meryman, 84, of Decatur, passed away at 6:23 p.m., Monday, November 27, 2006 at Manor Care Health Services.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Thursday, November 30 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, with visitation one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Maroa Cemetery, Maroa, IL.

Helen was born July 5, 1922, in Maroa, IL, the daughter of Glen R. and Rada (Thompson) Meryman. She married Floyd W. Grise. He preceded her in death in 1991. Helen was a member of Forsyth United Methodist Church and Eastern Star Vivian Chapter, Macon, IL.
Surviving are her daughters Yvonne Mladiner and Jan Hager and husband Steve, all of Decatur; grandchildren Kim Haas and husband Von and their children Erica and Brianna, Kelly Nichols and husband Doug and their children Kylie and Kierstin, Mickey Debord and husband Brian and their children Zachary and Ava, and sister Eloise Wagner of Decatur.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Velma, son-in-law Miro and grandson Todd.
