MARY M. DRAKE

Mrs. Mary M. Drake, 62, of 1530 South Liberty Avenue, dies at 4:30 a.m. Thursday at the City Hospital after an illness of four months.
Born in Paris, Mrs. Drake resided in Alliance 38 years, coming here from Minerva. She was a member of the First Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, David A Drake; nine daughters Mrs. Dante Aquilo at the home, Mrs. W W Dean, Mrs. A C Duchon and Mrs. Charles Seacrist of Alliance; Mrs. George Grindley of Sebring, Mrs. Philip Heider and Mrs. E J Roberts of Detroit, Mich; Mrs. E S Dehn of Philadelphia, Pa, and Mrs. R C Seiler of New Braunfels, Texas; two sons Kenneth Drake at the home, and Private John A Drake in North Africa; a brother Harry C Oyer of Paris; four sisters Mrs. J A Winger and Mrs. H T Haines of Alliance, Mrs. Hazel Penly of of Canton and Mrs. J G Johnson of Minerva and 27 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Cassaday and Turkle Funeral Home in charge of Dr. E R Romig, pastor of the First Methodist church. Friends may cal call from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be made at the City Cemetery.
