Mrs. Frank (Viola Streich) Koones, 81, of Maroa died 8:15 a.m. Sunday in Crestview Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Maroa, with visitation after 5 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Maroa Cemetery.
Mrs. Koons was born Aug. 8, 1894 in Indiana, a daughter of George Casper and Anna (Tepe) Streich.
She married Frank Koons Feb. 16, 1921. He died May 8, 1959.

Her first marriage was to Lesley Lloyd Morey abt 1915. They had one daughter: Florence Marie Morey, b:12-8-1916, she died on 2-8-1920. Lesley also preceded her in death on 2-7-1920. She married Frank Koons on Feb. 16, 1921. He preceded her in death on May 8, 1959. Frank & Viola had no children.
