S. A. Mulford of Troy, Thinks He Has $28,000 Due Him.
Seaburn A. Mulford, of Troy, has an obsession that the Troy Nursery Company owes him $28,000, and therefore he was adjudged insane by Probate Judge L. E. St. John Wednesday morning and committed to the Dayton state hospital where he was taken by Sheriff Joe Barnett.
Mr. Mulford is 64 years of age and according to Drs. S. Shinn and Harry E. Shilling, who made the medical examination, he does not know where he is and has a habit of wandering away and entering other houses.

Seaborn Mulford Leaves Widow and Children In This City
Word has been received in Troy that Seaborn Mulford died Monday at the Dayton state hospital where he was committed on April 11, 1917 by Probate Judge L. E. St. John.
Mr. Mulford was 64 years of age and he is survived by the wife, Mrs. Jennie Mulford, three daughters, Mrs. Ova Arnett of Anderson, Ind., Mrs. Bessie Bowman and Mrs. Fern Henderson, both of Troy and Charles Mulford of Troy.
The remains were brought to Troy for interment. Mr. Mulford during his life was a well known traveling man.
