SPRINGVILLE-Thomas H. Logos 85, of U.S. 20 at Ind, 39, died today, Monday, Nov.1, at 1:17 am at LaPorte Hospital, following an illness of one year. He was born Dec 20. 1896, in Pygros, Greece, and had lived here 30 years, coming from Chicago. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Fort Ogden, Fla., American Legion Post 37, Michigan City, he was a veteran of WW I and owner of the Springville Truck Stop. On Oct 4, 1952, in LaPorte, he married Grace Bernice Freese who survives. Also surviving are one stepdaughter, Mrs. Shirley June Prater of Demotte, Ind.; eight step grandchildren; 15 step great-grandchildren; one step great great granddaughter and one nephew. One stepdaughter, one brother and one sister preceded him in death. Funeral services will be at the Robarts-Grady Chapel 2:00 pm Saturday, November 6, 1982 with Dr. Norman O. Edwards and Rev.
