He was the son of Addie & Samuel Amos. He grew up in the Purdy & Butterfield area. Amos worked most of his life as a truck driver. In 1971 moved to Yates Center & lived there until 1979 when he moved to Iola.
Survivors include Kids: Freddie Amos & Elizabeth Bolian; siblings Buelah Farris & Fred.
Graveside services were held in the Arnhart Cemetery. Rev Norman Mohr officiated.
