Larry E. Conner, 52, of Cedarville, died Tuesday at 7:15 p.m. at the Friends Care Center, Yellow Springs. He was born in Greene County, August 8, 1934, the son of James O. and Daisy M. Deck Conner and had been employed as a well driller for the R.E. Lower Well Drilling Company of Springfield. Survivors include two step-sons and one step-daughter, all of Springfield; a brother, Bruce G. Conner of Xenia; a sister, Naomi Melvin, Cedarville; a step-grandson and four nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary F. Conner on April 30, 1985; and one brother. Services will be conducted Friday at 1 p.m. at the Ingling-Williams Funeral Home, Cedarville. Burial will follow in Grape Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
