Jerry L. Zike
Jerry L. Zike, 44, of Bloomington, Indiana, died Tuesday at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis.
Born Sept. 21, 1946, in Bedford, Indiana, he was the son of Glen and Helen (Blackwell) Zike. He was an electronic technician supervisor at Crane Naval Weapons Support center and was a member of the Southside Christian Church in Bloomington. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Tresia (Fleetwood) Zike of Bloomington; one daughter, Brandi Zike, at home; one son, Jared Zike, at home; his parents of Bloomington; one brother, Ken Zike of Bloomington; and two sisters, Joyanne Hawkins and Glenda Livingston, both of Bloomington.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Southside Christian Church in Bloomington with Steve Pettit officiating. Burial will follow at Clear Creek Cemetery.
Friends may call 2-9 p.m. today at Allen Funeral Home and noon until services Friday at the church.
Military graveside rites will be conducted by the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
