Mrs. Ellen Woodworth, Aged 75, Passes Away
Mrs Ellen Woodworth, 75, wife of Eugene Woodworth. died this morning at 9:88 at her home, 27 Sands Street, following a recent illness of about a week. She had been to poor health for the past five years
She was born in Chemung County, March 6, 1857, and came to Cortland more than 40 years ago.
Besides Her husband, she is survived by three daughters Mrs. John Gassy of Cortland, Mrs Russell Ogden of Groton and Mrs Ray Wadsworth of Johnson City; three sons, Fay, Ara and Leon Woodworth of Cortland; 14 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10 at the Earle W. Wright funeral home, Revered Carl W. Scovel, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be made in the Center Lisle cemetery.
