Helen C Bethune, age 67,died Thursday, October 11, at the North Mississippi Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born in Burnsville, was a retired inspector for a garment plant and a member of the Baptist church.

Services were held Saturday, October 13 at the Abrams Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Roy McHenry officiating. Burial was in the East Chickasaw Memorial Garden, W. E. Pegues Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include a daughter, Phyllis Kincade of Okolona; two sons, Doyle Bethune and James Bethune of Alexandria, La.; Five sisters, Kathleen Rinks of Gautier; Christine Puckett of Okolona, Francine Martin of Wiggins, Louise Dye of Vardaman and Bennie Lee Prehoda of Wiggins; four brothers, Merle Parson of Edmondson, Wash., Travis Parson, Doug Parson and Jack Parson all of Wiggins; five grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Mickey Puckett, Curtis Rinks, Danny Parson, Eddie Parson, Burney C. Martin, Orville Thornton, Pete Worthy, James Henry.

Honoray Pallbearers Ronnie Stevens, Teddy Parson, Bruce Prehoda, Ronnie Phillips and Danny Phillips.
