Robert Paul Duncan, 81, of Frostburg, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2023, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Carlos on July 8, 1941, to the late Mabel Adams and Willard R. Duncan.
His father was KIA in 1945 in Iwo Jima, Japan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Hilda Jane Duncan, who passed away in October of 2010, and brother, Colin Duncan.
Robert served in the U.S. Army after high school from 1960 to 1963.
He worked at Kelly Springfield Tire Company for 20 years and retired from Hunter Douglas with 25 years of service.
Bob was a loving father, husband, and Pap.
He was a faithful member of First Congregational Church of Frostburg where he held various offices.
He was devoted to the mission of the Interfaith Food Pantry for 13 years.
Surviving are his son, Robert Paul Duncan Jr. (Mary Beth); daughter, Candy Spears (Dale); sons, Brian Duncan (Michelle) and Mathew Duncan (Amy); grandchildren, Larae Duncan (Octaiva), Breanna Duncan (Issac), Megan Rice (Robert), Emma Duncan (Kyle), Ashlyn Duncan and Jennifer McKenzie (Chase); great-grandchildren, Owen, Khloee, Gwendolyn, Camree, Silas and Dexter; sister, Beverly Dunn; sister-in-law, Norene Beachy; brother-in-law, John Rafferty (Debbie); and his loving partner and best friend for the last ten years, Andrea Rafferty.
