Mrs. Benjamin Showalter, a longtime resident of Davenport, passed away Monday, August 1. She had not been well the past few years. She is survived by her husband, Benjamin Showalter; two sons, D. F. Showalter of Manhattan, Kansas, and Henry Showalter of Colorado; a daughter, Miss Hazel Showalter at home, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services and burial were in Davenport, Wednesday, August 3.
