The funeral of Mrs. Vesta Rene Sumpter of Crabtree was held Saturday at Crabtree. Pastor N. C. Ernstor of Albany conducted the services.
Her husband, five sons, father and mother Mr. and Mrs. Enoch Miller, six brothers and one sister are left to mourn her loss. Two of her brothers, Archie and Gard, are in the American Army.
She was a faithful worker in the church until sickness made further work impossible.
