Mother of Ed Nunn Dies in Illinois. Burial Here Wed.
Mrs. Cora Ann Nunn, 71, of Beardstown, Illinois, mother of Edward Nunn of Scio, died Saturday, January 9, 1965 in Illinois of cancer. Born June 1893 at Camp Point, Ill, she had lived her entire life in that state. She was married at Meredosia, Illinois to Howard Nunn, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Howard Jr. of Greensboro, North Carolina, and Edward of Scio, Ore., Rt 2; grandson Edw Nunn, Jr. also of Scio Rt2; two half sisters, Mrs. Irene Harris and Mrs. Stanley O'Berg, both of Spokane, Wash.
Mrs. Nunn was a member of the Methodist Church, and of the Rebekah Lodge. The body was brought here, and graveside services were held at 2 pm Wednesday, at Franklin Butte Cemetery. Rev. Edwin Martin of Scio Christian Church officiated. Arrangements were in charge of Fisher Funeral Home of Albany.
