Obituary
Joseph Ambrosek passed away at his home near Scio Tuesday Nov 27th about 3: 30 in the morning. Mrs. Ambrosek was born March 17, 1852 in Bjoravice, Moravia and in 1880 came to America and settled in Nebraska with his parents and only sister. In Nov. 1881 he was united in married to Miss Anna Ulrich, to this union 7 children were born of which all are living but two who passed when in their infancy. The children surviving him are Joe Ambrosek, Ed Ambrosek of Scio, Andrew of Wauneta, Nebraska, Anna Fredenthal of Portland, Milly Smith of Collage Grove, Oregon. Mr. and Mrs. Ambrosek first lived in Nebraska until 1903, they then moved to Oregon and settled about 6 miles east of Scio where they lived until 1917, they then moved to South Dakota where they lived until 1919, they again came to Oregon and settled a mile east of Scio, where he lived until his death. The burial services accord Sunday, December 2 in Franklin Butte Cemetery where he was laid to rest.
