Mrs. Lou Hurd Buried At Tuskahoma
Mrs. Lou Hurd, wife of Charley Hurd, former county clerk of Pushmataha County, died at her home in McAlester last Wednesday and was buried at Tuskahoma on Thursday [Mar 13].
Mrs. Hurd had been suffering from cancer of the stomach for several years, and despite the fact that she was very ill, only recently took her bed.
Loving friends tenderly laid her body to rest in the Tuskahoma Cemetery on Thursday after funeral services had been conducted by Rev. Whitworth of Antlers. She leaves a husband and two sisters to mourn her death.
