Funeral Services for Ralph Rudolph Carter 80, of Gore, are being held at 2 p.m. Thrusday at the Agent Chapel in Gore, with Rev. Don Niblett officiating. Burial is in White Cemetery north west of Gore, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Gore.
He was born Aug 10, 1921 in Gore, to Minnie Layfette Carter and Elpha Leona (Martin) Carter. He died Thurs, Feb 26, 2002, in Gore. He married Velma Jen Chandler on Oct. 2, 1948, in Van Buren, AR.
Survivors include his wife Velma Carter of the home; 2 daughters, Neve and her husband Steve, and Shella, 5 grandchildren; one great-grandson; one sister Ellen. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter Maryan Dell Carter on Ap 6, 1966, 2 sisters, Eula Riggs and Colleen Anderson; and three brothers, Ben Carter, Willard Carter, and E.C. Carter.
