LINDA H FLINK, 95

Linda H Flink, age 95, of Marion, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 1999 at the Greentree Health Care Center, Clintonville, where she had been a resident for the past year. The Rhodes & Beil Funeral Home of Marion is assisting the family.

The former Linda Hannah Frailing was born March 26, 1904 in the Town of Fairbanks, Shawano County, and was the daughter of the late Frank and Ida (Schmidt) Frailing. Linda grew up in the Split Rock area, and was united in marriage to Edwin Flink on June 20, 1928 at Peace Lutheran Church, Split Rock. The couple farmed in the Town of Union, Waupaca County from 1929 to 1954. The couple then lived in Marion. Edwin passed away May 21, 1979. Linda was a member of St Paul's Lutheran Church, was an active St Paul's Ladies Aid member, of Dupont, and had worked as a cook for the Marion School System for many years. She was a 50 year member of the Marble Homemakers, Town of Union, and was recognized for the the many hours of volunteer work at the Marion Senior Citizens Center.

Survivors include one daughter, Virginia (Milton) Polzin, Marion, and one son, James (Sally) Flink, Marion. There are 11 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. One sister, Hildegard Hangartner, Waukon, IA. Three sisters-in-law, Doris Frailing, Madison, WI; Virginia Frailing, Green Bay, WI; and Linda Anklam, Marion. Linda was preceded in death by her husband,m Edwin, 2 sisters, and 5 brothers.

Funeral services were held Saturday, December 4, 1999, at St Paul's Lutheran Church, Dupont. The Rev Janice M Kuder officiated. Burial was in the Union Cemetery, Tigerton.
