HOLLYWOOD – A funeral for Betty Sue (Atchley) Hastings, 30, Route 1, Hollywood, Jackson, AL, was Wednesday 20Feb1963 at 2 PM at Providence Baptist Church with Rev. Pat Guinn and Rev. Billy Joe Bain officiating. Burial followed in Cedar Hill Cemetery with Word-Bolton Funeral Home in charge.
Betty died Monday 18Feb1963 at Jackson County Hospital, Scottsboro, Jackson, AL.
Survivors are her husband, John Delbert "J.D." Hastings; three daughters, Cathy Ann Hastings, Brenda Kay Hastings and Pamela Sue Hastings; three sons, John David Hastings, Paul Edward Hastings and Danny Lee Hastings; her parents, George Milburn "G.M." and Minnie (Hammon) Atchley, Route 1 Hollywood, AL; three sisters, Mary Ruth (James) Talley of Route 1, Scottsboro, AL, Shirley (Ed) Talley of Orlando, FL and Lois Ann (Bob) Campbell of Route 1, Hollywood.; and a brother, George M. (Ola) Atchley, Route 1, Stevenson, Jackson AL.
Mrs. Hastings was preceded in death by two children, Jimmy Wayne Hastings and Nancy Carol Hastings.
