Max LeRoy Harkness, 91-year-old Burley resident, died Monday, May 1, 2023 at his home in Burley. In keeping with Max's wishes, no services will be held.

Max Leroy Harkness was born to parents Guy and Irene Harkness (née Barzee) in Idaho Falls, in 1932. He would marry Dorene Stevenson on October 5, 1951 and they would remain married until her passing. Together, they had seven children, Brent Leroy Harkness, (Milton) Blaine Harkness, Richard Glade Harkness, Forest (Shane) Harkness, Joy Lynne Henson, Pamela Renee Frasher, and Lelia Rae Jensen.
Max is survived by his beloved children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife, Dorene, and his parents, Guy and Irene Harkness.
